A Witch With a Story to Tell
Every good storybook promises adventure, mystery, and maybe a few questionable decisions along the way. Auntie Althea has spent years collecting tales like that, and she's always happy to share them with visitors who wander a little too close to her doorstep. Cloaked in flowing robes and holding her ancient book, she appears ready to read aloud from a particularly spooky chapter.
Of course, Auntie Althea's stories rarely follow the comforting path of a bedtime tale. As she flips through her pages, her voice grows playful and mischievous, hinting that something strange might be stirring tonight. The way she laughs between lines suggests that the story might not stay safely inside the book for long.
Design & Details
The Storybook Witch Decoration features flowing fabric clothing and a tall, pointed hat, standing on a sturdy plastic base that brings the figure to approximately 78 inches tall. She holds a spellbook and wears glowing potion bottles at her waist that illuminate in cool color tones, adding an eerie, magical glow to the display.
When activated, Auntie Althea's eyes flash red while her mouth moves as she speaks long, inviting yet taunting phrases. Her torso sways side to side as she laughs and calls out delightfully taunting lines such as “Something spooky is out tonight, and it might be you,” “Have you come for treats or a trick?” and “Welcome to my home, my little victim… I mean… my little friends.” The decoration includes an on/off switch and requires four AA batteries.
A Chapter With a Twist
Place Auntie Althea near the entryway or among a haunted display, and she becomes the storyteller of the evening. Guests may pause to hear the beginning of her tale, drawn in by her inviting tone and glowing potions.
