Little Shop of Horrors or Big Yard of Terror?
You know that type who is always saying they're low maintenance. Just feed 'em and they're happy? Gnashroot took that energy and ran with it. (Or at least planted itself deep in that mindset.) While other monstrous plants might sing about their ambitions for world domination, Gnashy is eager to grab a bite to eat and make a bad habit of chewing with his mouth open. (Who can blame a vegetable for bad table manners, though?)
This 5-foot carnivorous plant animatronic doesn't do subtle. It rotates its toothy head, snaps its jaws with genuine enthusiasm, and makes the kind of crunching sounds that suggest it recently enjoyed something formerly alive. It growls, screeches, and sighs like it's contemplating the philosophical implications of photosynthesis! Position him on your porch and challenge your guests to come and smell the roses.
Design & Details
Standing 5 feet tall, Gnashroot features fabric construction with faux plant leaves climbing a realistic stalk. The gauze drape scattered with vinyl leaves creates that horrific jungle monster authenticity. His rotating head opens and closes to reveal jaws lined with gauze that diffuses the color-changing LED lights, cycling through red, yellow, green, blue, and purple for maximum unsettling effect.
The tripod base adjusts to multiple heights for versatile placement. An activation panel tucked under the tarp offers try-me mode, on/off control, and runs on 4 AA batteries. Sound effects include forest ambiance, enthusiastic munching and crunching, deep sighs, growls, and piercing screeches that communicate Gnashroot's... let's call them "dietary needs."
