Witches have their wands. Wands are nice, easy to transport, somewhat easy to come by. Wizards though, they've got staffs. The timeless ones do at least. You wouldn't see Gandalf the Grey or Merlin sporting a little wand, oh no. The powerful wizards who fight underground demons need some hefty equipment, and it has to look pretty spiffy too.

There's no doubt that this wizard staff packs a punch. We're guessing it was crafted by the elves but we can't promise anything. What we do know is it's bound to get you some respect at the upcoming wizard convention. The purple orb is eye-catching and mysterious, who knows what sort of power lies in that cloudy sphere. A powerful dragon curls itself around the orb, protecting the magic inside. We don't know what kind of magic you'll whip up with this staff but one thing's for sure, this staff sure beats a measly wand.

Q: The battery compartment is 40cm up inside the pole and I can't get it out.

How do I get it out to change the batteries?

I've tried contacting the seller but their system is too hard to follow or doesn't work.

    Much lower quality than expected
    By Danny  | 19 October 2021
Ordered this to finish off my wizard outfit for Halloween.

As for the staff itself, the quality is poor. The shaft comes in three plastic pieces and are just pushed together making it very flimsy, there's also no cap on the bottom of the staff just an open pipe. The dragon head itself and the orb are made of soft, squishable plastic, this probably makes less prone to damage but it looks cheap. There's a visible seam on the orb and marks where the dragon was attached presumably.

Most disappointing part was the orb light. There's a button near the top of the shaft which is awkwardly placed to turn on the light. Challenge here is it only last for 5 to 6 seconds and then turns off. I though a setting would set this to stay on longer, but the power switch is either off or on. This means that you have to keep hitting the button to get the orb to light up, and as the button is not naturally near your hand, this becomes tiresome quickly.

Very disappointed in this item and would not recommend.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
