The tunic is the same length all the way around at the hem, but the detachable train attaches at the back waistline, which gives it that longer look from behind. In a Medium, for example, the tunic measures 34" on its own, and adding the train brings the total back length to 57". As costumes are not made like regular clothes, they are more delicate. Most of the time there's a tag with care instructions, otherwise, we recommend hand washing or spot cleaning and hanging it to dry. Please do not iron, instead, you would want to steam out wrinkles.
